Year 6 will be taking their National SATs, these are standardised assessment tests set by the Government. KS2 SATs are compulsory for all Year 6 pupils in England.

We are delighted to announce that Jam Coding will running a Junior after school club at Abercrombie Primary School in the Summer Term. Please note that there is a charge for this activity.
- Year 2 Trip17May2024
8:45 am - 3:15 pm @ Matlock Farm Park
As part of our topic work, we have planned a trip to Matlock Farm Park. We will spend the day finding out about the animals, including a Meerkat talk and feed, a small animal petting session and a guided tour with animal food.
- Year 4 Trip20May2024
8:30 am - 5:45 pm @ Yorkshire Wildlife Park
Year 4 will be visiting Yorkshire Wildlife Park to support our science learning all about habitats and vertebrate/invertebrate classifications. Please arrive at school at 8:30am. We will leave school at 8:45am, to arrive at Yorkshire Wildlife Park for 9:45am. Please ensure your child is wearing full school uniform with a pair of comfortable shoes, such as trainers, as we will be doing lots of walking! We will leave Yorkshire Wildlife Park at 4:45pm, so should be back to school for 5:45pm.
